Development:

Java Developer (São Paulo)

As we keep growing, we are looking for a Java Developer to our skilled team in São Paulo, who would like to work in a technical challenging role and work with cutting edge technology on a platform. We need you to be part of our complex payment eco system (and make it seem so easy for everyone around you).
What you’ll do
• Responsible for full life cycle development: communicating with stakeholders and merchants and monitoring the impact of the feature;
• Design, implement, test and monitor new functionalities to the platform;
• Identify and improve parts of the platform to make it more robust and scalable;

Technical Support Engineer (Mexico City or São Paulo)

As Technical Support Engineer,  you operate as a first interface to our local acquiring partners in Mexico as well as with many of PrimeiroPay’s merchants across the globe, working closely with both the Sales and Partner Management teams. The ideal candidate is extremely merchant-focused and highly motivated by team success. Experience in a technology driven company is a definite plus.

Profile

  • Solid experience in problem analysis and resolution of software problems.
  • Affinity with internet technologies and knowledge of customer relations technical processes (such as SQL / HTML / Javascript / PHP)
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, Portuguese is a plus.
  • Creative and innovative, have strong problem solving capabilities and is able to adapt to new processes and procedures quickly while dealing with many varied technical requests.
  • Committed and flexible, demonstrate the ability to maintain high levels of productivity with minimal supervision.
  • Abilities to write scripts, PHP or Java code is a plus.

Previous experiences

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in a technical role, wowing prospects with the technical capabilities and design of software products, with a strong ability to translate technical jargon into clear business benefit; Deep technical understanding of web services / APIs and system integrations. Good understanding of the payment industry, combined with good project management and planning skills are key to excel in this position. Global Sales Operations Manager (São Paulo)

We are looking for a hands-on leader based in São Paulo, reporting directly to our CEO, to own PrimeiroPay’s CRM to ensure it is a best-in-class CRM system. The ideal candidate will strike the right balance between having a strategic vision for the tool and not being afraid to roll up their sleeves to get things done.

You will:

  • Be the architect of our CRM instance, constantly iterating on the system so it best fits our commercial teams’ needs

Management, Legal and Compliance:

Managing Director PrimeiroPay Cyprus (Nicosia)

Assume overall responsibility for the establishment of Primeiro Group in Cyprus and to achieve the Company’s objectives efficiently and profitably, in line with Group strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the Primeiro Group’s plans and objectives in regards to expanding to Cyprus and the Middle East region in the field of payment services
  • Be responsible for the establishment of the Primeiro presence and offices in Cyprus including recruitment of staff
  • Act as a primary contact between the Company and the local regulator
  • Keep the operations of the Company under constant review and report to the Board of Directors by providing (on a consistent basis) management information
  • Formulate a strategy to attain objectives and establish a structure of delegated responsibilities to ensure effective full control of the Company
  • Represent the Company nationally and internationally
  • Ensure that the general management of the Company’s operations is in accordance to the objectives set by the Board of Directors

Compliance Officer (Nicosia)

Our fast-paced team is looking for a compliance officer with experience in the payments, finance industry or regulators. The successful candidate must be able to work as a business partner, connecting with a wide range of teams and external stakeholders, including risk, legal, finance and regulators, and provide pragmatic advice and guidance to build sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the Company has clear policy in respect of the assumption, follow up and management of risks duly notified to all interested parties or organizational units of the Company
  • Ensure that the Company has a complete Enterprise Risk Management and Compliance Framework in place (including all relevant policies and procedures) for the Company to meet its legal and regulatory obligations at all times
  • Monitor the adequacy and effectiveness of the Company’s risk management policy and the level of compliance of the Company with the Risk Management and Compliance Framework
  • Report directly to Board of Directors
  • Act as the Company’s local Anti-Money Laundering Officer
  • Undertake a quarterly review of the effectiveness of the system of internal control and report to the Board of Directors any significant findings
  • Keep abreast with regulatory compliance issues for all departments and ensure the awareness requirements through self-study, attending seminars, conferences, trade association meetings and other informational opportunities
  • Inform and elicit the input of the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors on any changes in laws and regulations
  • Establish written guidance to staff on the appropriate implementation of compliance laws, rules, regulations and standards through policies and procedures and other documents such as compliance manuals and internal codes of conduct
  • Create a system that ensures that the Company’s products, services and structures routinely and consistently meet Company standards and specifications as well as the applicable laws and regulations
  • Perform duties of the Anti-Money Laundering Reporting Officer as required by the AML legislation of the Republic of Cyprus and other regulatory authorities
  • Ensure identification and due diligence of customers and fulfilment of “KYC” provisions and identify ML/TF risks and politically exposed persons (“PEPs”)
  • Monitor and analyse customers’ activities and transactions in respect to ML/TF and review the account opening documents obtained from existing clients of the Company to ensure compliance with the Company’s procedures and legal requirements
  • Develop compliance reporting checklists and logs to ensure that compliance to regulation and policy is being monitored, inspected and corrected when compliance deficiencies arise
  • Perform spot checks and prepare reports on the findings (and any recommendations) for the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors
  • Conduct special studies for the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors on pending compliance regulations
  • Assist departmental managers in formulating policy and procedural initiatives and assist in writing and updating manuals and procedures
  • Examine all Human Resource policies, practices and procedures to determine compliance with all legislation regarding employment
  • Ensure a high quality/standard of work and service throughout
  • Direct subordinates in meeting their work objectives
  • Ensure the establishment and effective implementation of the Company’s customers’ acceptance policy according to which a risk-based approach is followed for classifying clients as low, medium or high risk, which involves the identification, recording and evaluation of clients’ risk profile that have to be managed through the implementation of appropriate measures and due diligence procedures
  • Educate and train the personnel of the Company on risk and compliance related issues
  • Perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time

  • Must have a background of at least eight (8) years in senior level positions within the Risk or Compliance Function in banking/financial services sector or other relevant areas
  • Experience with payment institutions and payment services will be considered an advantage

  • Must be well organised and must be able to commit sufficient time to perform his/her functions and responsibilities
